Hello and welcome!

I hope you find this space useful and supportive in your journey raising confident and capable kids! This blog is a passion project. I have been an educator for over 20+ years and in that time I've seen and done a lot of really cool things. I've also learned a lot along the way, and learn new things every day.

I am currently in grad school studying to get my Masters in Counselling Psychology. Leading up to this point I worked in parent and educational consulting, owned a preschool, spent time as a teacher, administrator and guidance counsellor. I've done a lot of different things, each lending themselves to building my experience.

My goal with this space is to share my experience, my passion for using picture books to teach social emotional development and some tools for raising amazing and kind kids.
